Sandra Seaman, credentialed with a Foundations of Homeopathy certificate (CF Hom) from the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy, has added two new techniques to her homeopathy practice—facial analysis and muscle testing. According to Seaman, homeopathy addresses disease on all levels, physical, mental and emotional, whether chronic or acute.
Grant Bentley, the principal of the Victorian College of Classical Homeopathy, in Australia, developed the system of homeopathic facial analysis that Seaman uses. Based upon the face as a reflection of current and past stresses and genetic inheritance, facial analysis allows the homeopath to use seven to 10 photographs to categorize the client into one of seven remedy groups, known as miasms.
The intuitive process of muscle testing allows the practitioner to evaluate how well a homeopathic remedy resonates with a client’s symptoms and to fine tune the specifics of potency and dosing for better case management. The complementary approaches allow the homeopath to corroborate the intellectual process of homeopathy with the intuitive, energetic level of healing.
