Licensed Funeral Director and green burial specialist Laura Adamo will present an event sponsored by Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., a Green Burial Council-certified firm. Sessions will take place twice: at noon with a light lunch and 5:30 p.m., June 20, 2024, with light refreshments. Adamo has a  background in hospice volunteer work and is experienced in conducting non-traditional arrangements, family-led funerals and green burials.

She says, “Green or eco-conscious funerals are within reach for families in our area, and we are here to talk about it, answer questions and help families with planning so that everyone can have an experience at the end of life that aligns with their values.” There will be representatives from local green cemeteries, a display of green burial and natural funeral merchandise, and a presentation featuring many alternatives to the traditional funeral.
