Grey Muzzle Manor Embarks on New Frontier

Nonprofit Grey Muzzle Manor is growing its therapy program and
interviewing new therapists to bring on board. Licensed Professional Counselor
Marcy Tocker says, “We hope to introduce new therapists to clients soon. Stay
tuned to our website and Facebook page for more info.”
By growing the Grey
Muzzle Manor therapy team, they can bring animal-assisted psychotherapy, an
experiential form of psychotherapy where animals are involved in the sessions,
to more individuals and hopefully create positive change in their lives.
“Experiential” means clients will be involved in hands-on experiences with the
horses designed to reflect events going on in their lives.
“Stay tuned as Horse Powered Reading is also on its way to Grey Muzzle
Manor,” shares Tocker. Since 2012, Horse Powered Reading has been giving hope
to struggling readers by offering equine-assisted services and training for
students, teachers and equine professionals around the world.
