To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Take Heart Counseling & Equine Assisted Therapy will conduct its annual Open Barn event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 8, 2024, for a day of fun, food, horses, free tractor rides, food trucks, local business vendors, equine art therapy (pony painting) and special edition Take Heart merchandise.

Founder Meagan Good says, “We are raising $10,000 for our Partnership Program for our 10th anniversary. This gets 10 people financial assistance for up to 10 therapy sessions here at the ranch!”

Activities include: 11:30 a.m.—Healing Through Connection and equine therapy; 12:30 p.m.—Connected Horsemanship demonstration; 1:30 p.m.—pony rides; and 2:30 p.m.—Healing Through Connection and equine therapy.
