The Zest Cooking School, located in Lititz, has released its summer camp schedule for kids and teens with an intriguing assortment of recipes. In June, young chefs will learn to cook pasta, wraps with hummus, falafels and veggies along with a variety of burgers. The July camp focuses on savory hors d’oeuvres and decadent desserts.

Class instructor Gwen Eberly couples her 25-year career as an art teacher and decades long cooking experience to inspire curiosity, creativity and self-assuredness in her campers. About the camps, Eberly says, “Kids have the opportunity to develop confidence in the kitchen, learn culinary skills, interact with others and create delicious, healthy recipes.”

All camps are $200 and run for three consecutive days from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for children ages 7 through 12, and teens ages 12 though 16. Location: 1180 Erbs Quarry Rd., Lititz; Zest!
