A celebration of recovery from addiction will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., September 22, at Buchanan Park, in Lancaster. The family-friendly event will feature a barbecue picnic, musical entertainment, kids’ crafts and the annual Walk for Recovery. The focus is to raise awareness and celebrate that recovery is a reality in our community, and to welcome community members to learn about addiction and recovery. 

It is sponsored by the Lancaster County Recovery Alliance, a volunteer group of people in recovery and allies of recovery, including helping professionals and those affected by addiction and recovery.
