Lancaster General Health has awarded Nick Dower, a licensed acupuncturist at Susquehanna Acupuncture and Associates, the credentials to be a service provider at the Image Recovery Center at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute. Dower will offer acupuncture to men and women that are undergoing treatment for cancer to help ease the symptoms associated with their treatments, including nausea, pain, fatigue and edema.

Dower, who has an undergraduate degree in biology and biochemistry, attained his Master of Acupuncture degree from the Philadelphia-area Won Institute of Graduate Studies to become a licensed acupuncturist in 2012.
